Twilight Nippers and Parent Races
This week nippers will be held at 3pm on Saturday (17th) afternoon. Following nippers we will be running two events for the parents, Flags and a Run-Swim-Run. There are 4 Rebel Sports gift vouchers to be won! one each for the male and female winners of the two events, so come prepared to get sandy and wet and show the kids how its done.
Christmas Party
Doors open for the Hawaiian Christmas party at 6pm.
Santa arrives at 6.30pm so don't be late! Parcels for Santa can be left in the Santa sacks in the kitchen of the club function room during the afternoon. The parcels will leave the club to meet Santa at about 5.30pm so make sure they are dropped off before then. Any parcels that miss the 5.30pm pick up will have to be discreetly placed in Santa's transport when he arrives to ensure there are no disappointed nippers.
We are asking for each family to make a small contribution to a Christmas Hamper which will be given away as a lucky door prize on the night. These can also be left in the kitchen, in the box marked "Christmas Hamper" at the same time as Santa's parcels are left.
Important Message From the President
A serious Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) issue has been raised at the Club level with regard to the GYM. Due to the possibly dangerous nature of the equipment available in the gym it is for use by SRC, Patrolling Members and member/family member adults only.
To meet our OHS responsibilities Nippers and other children are not permitted access to the gym at any time.
Nippers have access to the Nipper area once this has been opened by an adult (as currently it can only be opened by access via the gym).
We would appreciate the assistance of all parents in ensuring that children do not enter the Gym area.
